I recently added a site to cloudflare, and had to change my hosting. The site could not load and when i asked my hosting provider they asked me to go update the IP in Cloudflare. I didn’t see any option to do that. Any clues?
To update the IP address in Cloudflare, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Cloudflare account.
2. Navigate to the “DNS” section for your domain.
3. Locate the DNS record associated with your website’s domain name.
4. Edit the DNS record to update the IP address to the new one provided by your hosting provider.
5. Save the changes.
Once the DNS record is updated with the correct IP address, it may take some time for the changes to propagate across the internet.

To change the IP address that your domain on cloudflare points to, you would need to login to your cloudflare dashboard, click on DNS next to the summary tab, there you will see the list of domain configurations for your site. you will also see the IP addresses that your domain points to. to change any of them, simply click on it and the IP field will become editable. Delete the old record, add your new IP and save. that’s all!
