Role Summary
The Regional Programme Manager will oversee and implement The Cat’s Mother Network’s initiatives within the UK This role involves working closely with local partners, volunteers, and participants to ensure the effective delivery of programmes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, passionate about empowering women in the creative sector, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Organisation: The Cat’s Mother Network
Location:Remote, some travel expected.
Employment Type:Part-Time (20 hours per week max)
Reports To: The Cat’s Mother Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Management:
– Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of regional programmes and events.
– Ensure all programmes align with The Cat’s Mother Network’s goals and objectives.
– Monitor and report on the progress of programmes, ensuring they are on time, within scope, and within. budget.
– Adapt programmes to meet the unique needs of the local community.
Stakeholder Engagement:
– Build and maintain relationships with local partners, sponsors, volunteers, and community organisations.
– Serve as the primary point of contact for all regional stakeholders.
– Coordinate and lead meetings with local stakeholders to discuss programme objectives, challenges, and successes.
Volunteer Management:
– Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support programme delivery.
– Provide ongoing support and motivation to volunteers, ensuring they are engaged and valued.
Communications and Outreach:
– Promote The Cat’s Mother Network’s regional activities through various channels, including social media, newsletters, and local events.
– Represent The Cat’s Mother Network at regional events, conferences, and meetings.
– Collaborate with the central communications team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
– Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of regional programmes.
– Collect and analyse data to measure programme outcomes and make data-driven decisions for programme improvement.
– Prepare quarterly reports for the Director of Programmes and other key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in programme management, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
– Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire a diverse range of stakeholders.
– Passion for women’s empowerment and familiarity with the creative industries is a plus.
– Experience working with volunteers and community organisations.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
Desirable:
– Experience in monitoring and evaluation.
– Familiarity with some regional and/or local community networks.
– Experience in marketing or communications.
Compensation:
– Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
