But the way forward should not be confusing to you.
The lady has made her choice, be ready to let her go.
You need not fight for a relationship where you are not given value.
If she chose your boss over you, it’s her choice, anything you do about it will only jeopardize your job, which may not be the right decision given the state of the economy.
You may also want to start looking for another job, or transfer to another location where you won’t be seeing or hearing from them, for your mental health’s sake.
