Bid Solutions is currently working with a leading software provider to source a Knowledgebase Manager. The role is responsible for maintaining and improving the bid library, ensuring that reusable bid content is readily available. This role suits someone that has previously worked in a similar role, or spent time as a bid writer / coordinator with exposure to bid library maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the bid library
- Review proposal and bid responses for quality, readability, consistency and tone; providing actionable insights for the bid library
- Collaborate to create and maintain well-written and well-presented proposal templates, following best practice and using team style guide.
- Assimilate information extracted from subject matter experts and write / edit it into the company style, ensuing it’s clearly articulated and easy to integrate into proposals.
- Act as a quality approver and editor on content and resources where required.
Required Skills / Experience:
- Experience managing a content / resource library, content management systems and / or knowledgebase.
- Experience writing and editing sales / proposal content.
- Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills and proficient Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent English language writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Able to identify and work with subject matter experts within the business.
- Able to motivate subject matter experts to ensure commitment to updating content on a pre-agreed cycle.
